WELCOME TO IMVELO SAFARI LODGES
FIND OUT MORE
If you’ve never been to Zimbabwe before, you’re in for a treat. After all, it’s one of the most beautiful, enigmatic, diverse and friendly countries in Africa.
At Imvelo, we aren’t just about luxury lodges and there’s more to us than spectacular photographic safaris - we believe in enriching the lives of those who live around us as well as our guests. We are determined to ensure that it’s the local people and wildlife that directly benefit from our visitors.
For now, we’d like to take you on a little journey. To introduce you to our safari lodges and camps, roam their breathtaking and unique surroundings, and highlight some of the differences that visitors like you have already made. Our rural communities and the preservation of our Parks would not be the same without you.
At the forefront of eco-tourism
Game water supplies, mobile dental clinics, village boreholes, water pumps, school building supplies, a library, and so the list goes on.
At Imvelo, we have spent over 20-years creating symbiotic relationships between man and nature, forming mutually beneficial relationships within our surroundings, and learning how to protect all living things for future generations.
Become part of Imvelo’s green agenda by joining us on an eco-tourism safari of a lifetime.
Luxury safari lodges and camps that make a difference
Each of our safari lodges and camps has been meticulously designed to offer all your home comforts, a splash of luxury and an exciting dash of unique. On top of this, our locations have been carefully selected for two vital reasons; the local communities dedication to our conservation partnership and their proximity to some of nature’s most impressive wonders, from the famous Victoria Falls, to the mighty Zambezi River and Hwange National Park, famed for its thousands of elephants.

JOZIBANINI CAMP – RATED BY THE TIMES' 'BEST FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS
The Times’ December 2016 write up on Jozi: “Hwange National Park, perfect for savouring that wilderness spirit. Its beauty lies in its simplicity, with just three en suite tents raised on wooden decking and sheltered under camelthorn trees. There’s no mess tent: you dine under stars as the campfire crackles away nearby. With the bed rolled out on to your deck, you can sleep under the stars too. Watch the wildlife close up from a well-camouflaged hide by Jozibanini Pan, walk through the woodlands or go mountain-biking along old elephant trails. There’ll be no one else around — the nearest neighbors are a four-hour drive away.”
If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track this coming dry season, Jozibanini Camp in the remote south west of Hwange National Park is just the place... When we say Jozi is ‘remote’ and ‘exclusive,’ we really do mean exactly that; you will be among the first tourists to visit this part of Hwange for a very long time. The camp is simple but comfortable, with bucket showers and campfire style dining, a day’s game drive from our other Imvelo properties. Jozibanini offers some very unique activities to Hwange including game viewing by mountain bike, beds that slide out onto the tent decks for a 'star bed' experience and a look up game viewing hide in front of the camp waterhole which makes for excellent close up photographic opportunities of Hwange's giants, the elephants.
